At the October 17, 2023 City Council meeting, Council adopted a Recognition Policy ("Policy") that would provide guidelines for those wanting to honor organizations, events and individuals for exceptional humanitarian efforts, to honor occasions of importance and significance, and to increase public awareness on issues that improve the well-being of the citizens of the City of Rosenberg.
The Policy outlines the processes for all types of celebratory documents issued by the Mayor, on behalf of City Council. Please review the below documents. The Recognition Request Form must be completed and returned to the City Secretary as explained in the below FAQ's.
