Lieutenant Shayne Macha has served the City of Rosenberg since 2009. Lieutenant Shayne Macha began by serving the Patrol Division for seven years, in such capacities as Officer, Field Training Officer, SWAT, and K9. Lieutenant Shayne Macha transitioned to the Criminal Investigations Division in 2015, serving as a property crimes detective, detective sergeant, and ultimately investigations lieutenant.
Lieutenant Shayne Macha's area of concern consist of all criminal investigative practices, such as property crimes, person crimes, special crimes, fraud, narcotics, crime analysis, and evidence collection. Additionally, Lieutenant Shayne Macha serves as the Rosenberg Police Department team leader assigned to the Fort Bend County Regional SWAT Team.
Lieutenant Shayne Macha graduated from Sam Houston State University’s College of Criminal Justice with a Bachelor of Science Degree, majoring in criminal justice. Lieutenant Shayne Macha currently holds a Master Peace Officer certificate with TCOLE.
