The American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) is a non-profit, non-partisan membership organization leading positive social change and delivering value to people, age 50 and over, through information, advocacy, and service. Since its inception in 1958 by Dr. Ethel Percy Andrus, and with a membership of over 40 million, the AARP has grown and changed dramatically in response to societal changes, while remaining true to its founding principles.
Meetings
The Fort Bend County Chapter Number 1772 meets on the fourth Thursday of each month (alternate weeks apply in November and December) at the Rosenberg Civic Center. Gatherings include lunch, chapter meeting, and entertainment/games. There is a nominal fee for lunch and membership to AARP is required. See more information on AARP.
